Do you usually dye your hair at home, but don't get the same results as when you visit the hairdresser? You're not alone. We at October Stockholm want everyone to have the opportunity to get the same feeling in their hair without having to go to the hairdresser every time. Therefore we’ve created a hair color that is not only used in the hairdressing salon - you can shop our products and use at home. Discover our professional and vegan hair color True Colour. What is True Color?

True Colour is a professional, 100% vegan* and permanent hair color that provides a long-lasting result, effectively covers gray hairs up to 100 percent and provides an incredible amount of shine. True Color comes in 74 different shades, which makes it possible to create almost any hair color. Thanks to all our shades, you can create your own recipes by simply mixing different shades.

The hair colour is enriched with Ceramide A2, Macadamia oil and cranberries which together moisturize the hair, give it a beautiful shine and reduce frizz.

–Ceramide A2 helps to moisturize the hair while preserving the shade and shine of the color and strengthening the hair. 
– Macadamia oil is a rebuilding oil that moisturizes the hair and deeply nourishes the hair. It also helps prevent frizz and makes the hair smooth and shiny. 
– Cranberries are rich in antioxidants and protect your hair against free radicals that can cause damage.

Become a hair colour pro

Regardless of whether you have never colored your hair at home before or if you’re a comfortable home dyer, you will soon become a hair colour pro. Check out Get the look and you will find instructions on how to colouring your hair according to the desired result.

We’ll describe which hair colour you should use, how much colour is needed, how to apply the hair colour and how long it should remain in the hair. You can also shop the products you need to succeed with your colouring. Remember that some results require an extra hand, while others are easy to achieve all by yourself. You will find difficulty level beneath each color.

In order to achieve this look, prior knowledge and experience of colouring hair is required. We recommend that you ask a friend to help you. Here you can read the instructions and buy the products.

To succeed with this look, start by cleansing your hair with Color Reboot or detox shampoo. Then mix 7 and 7.12 with equal parts Activator 5 Vol and 20 vol and apply to the bottom. After that, pick out narrow strands around the hair and apply 5.1 with Activator 5 Vol, put plastic wrap around each coloured strand so they don't get mixed up with the rest of the hair. Then pick out a wider loop in the front and wider loops over the hair where bleaching is applied (for fair hair they can be wrapped in plastic wrap and not bleached). Apply the same colour as the bottom (7 and 7.12) to the lengths that do not have plastic foil. Leave on for 20 minutes then wash off. Apply a shade of White, clear and Activator 5 vol throughout the hair. Leave on for 20 minutes before washing your hair again.
